We work with traditional renters and housing voucher programs across Connecticut. LC Leasing regularly partners with Section 8, Rapid Rehousing, City housing programs, The Salvation Army, and other state- and privately-funded assistance programs. We welcome applicants participating in these programs.

Application Fee: $50 per adult (18+) (covers background/credit screening. The application fee must be paid before processing.)

Do I need to complete a separate application for each apartment?
No. Only one application is required.
Your completed application can be used for any available apartment within LC Leasing’s inventory. Even if the unit is managed by a different company, you do not need to submit multiple applications. If supplemental docs are needed to support your application that will be communicated by your assigned leasing specialist.
How long does the approval process take?
Applications are typically processed within 3–5 business days once all required documents and fees have been submitted.
Please note that final approval timelines may vary depending on the property management company. Your assigned leasing specialist will provide updates throughout the process.
Do you accept Section 8 or housing voucher programs?
Yes. Connecticut law requires landlords to consider qualified applicants using housing vouchers.
LC Leasing works with applicants participating in Section 8, Rapid Rehousing, and other state- and privately-funded rental assistance programs. We welcome and encourage qualified applicants using these programs to apply.
Is the application fee refundable?
No. The application fee is non-refundable.
The $50 per adult fee covers credit and background screening, which is processed once submitted. To avoid unnecessary fees, we require only one application per applicant — even if you are being considered for multiple units.
Does my cosigner need to complete an application?
Yes. All cosigners must complete a full application and submit the same required documentation as the primary applicant.
Cosigners should understand that their name will be included on the lease and they are equally responsible for the terms of the agreement.
